There is much development work going on in regard to the AB website at the moment and hopefully you are finding it to be easier to use, quicker to load and easier to find the product you want using our new "search feature" and clearer product indexing.

August in Europe is a strange time for slotracers as much time is spent organising family holidays etc. but it is also the beginning of big things in slot racing. Here in the UK the 1/24th Nationals are just a few weeks away and many racers are focused on this as not only the start of a very competitive season, but also an opportunity to try out what will be the track for the 2008 ISRA Worlds race.

VERY LIMITED SUPPLY OF SPEEDSHOP ULTIMATE RACE TYRES!

A few of you were lucky enough to get some of the last batch of "ULTRAFISH" donuts. These were the same batch of rubber from Speedshop which worked so well at ISRA last year. Well the good news is that we have a limited batch of both Donuts and Tyres on hubs arriving in the next few days. These will be supplied on a strictly first come first served basis.

Tyres on Hubs feature the super high quality Speedshop, Magnesium alloy hubs with trued and glued tyres in the following sizes;-

1/32 scale, 3/32" bore hubs, tire diameter 0.620" @£9.95

1/32 scale, 2mm bore hubs, tire diameter 0.062" @£9.95

NEW PRODUCTS from AB

AB has just released an all new G12 Eurosport chassis which is proving to be real good on all types of tracks from tight scale tracks to more open circuits. Priced at just £39.95 for the kit, this also represents great value (see this chassis at www.abslotsport.biz/page64.html ) while you are there, take a look at our new magnetic wheel balancer and also the great AB Body cutting Jig.

RETRO

We have been astounded at the response to the Truescale bodies which came into stock around 2 months ago and we almost sold out. The good news is more are on the way and should be here within around 7 days.

The AB Carbon Fibre and Stainless Steel chassis jig is now a firm favourite with many chassis builders and we still have a few on the peg for racers needing a great way to build their chassis.

"KILLER" CAN MOTORS

From the 15th of August, AB will be building Koford and Proslot G12 motors "in house" enabling us to ensure that you get Just what you want! All motors will feature

Slugged cans

Oven cured magnets, diamond honed and fully zapped

Aligned ballraces or bushing as required

Aligned and Diamond honed Brush Gear

Pre-conditioned, timing clocked & balance checked armatures in a selection of timings.

Shunted Big Foot motor brushes

Ran in and bench tested.

FALCON PRO

The concept of racing Falcon Pro, both at Club Level and also in National round racing is taking hold in the UK. Open chassis choice, with low cost chassis in 1/32 scale and also the JK 3 piece Cheetah 11 chassis for both 1/32 and 1/24th production racing is seeing some great performances and racers are enjoying this real cheap "go faster for not much money" racing. Time for another news letter!

1/24th D3 racing

Interest in D3 is growing in the UK and Europe and just in time Jk has producted a really slick D3 kit comprising of a brass front piece and pans, a rear bracket (either standard or offset) and a prebent piano wire main rail. To accompany this, JK have launched a Worldwide competition for chassis builders using this kit. For details see www.darksideracing.co.uk/page32.html

OTHER D3 stuff

We are proud to announce that we are stocking a great range of bodies from Truescale, beautiful repos in super clear lexan with great detail.

Other JK Stuff

Following on the undoubted success of the Chettah 11 chassis, JK have produced a 1/32 version of this chassis called the "Hyperslot" chassis. A little thicker than the Cheetah 11, this chassis is lighting up track records all over the UK and is well worth a look at if you are into 1/32 production. It's strong, easy to set up and handles very well.

JK also now have a new generation of polymer hubs! Just released, we will have samples next week. These hubs are said to be similar to Cahoza, with a tougher polymer and very good accuacy. These are expected end of the 1st week in June.

B.O.W. is coming back!

We should have stocks of B.O.W. G12 and 560 diameter S16d armatures by the 1st week in July. No complete motors or motor cans are available at this time however.

AB goes G12 Wing!

Yes we have finally done it! AB have proced a great G12 Wing Chassis kit, ideal for racing on most tracks

The chassis has 112mm between rear axle and guide pivot centres and comes coplete with integral guide and optional additional guide plate (if your rules permit this). The chassis also features removable weight plates, + 2 pairs of rear pin tube pillar blocks (for alternative tube movement) and a Price tag of just £22.50 for the kit.

For those of you into 1/32 "scale" racing, I am delighted to announce that we will be releasing 2 beardof resin kits this year around August time, an awesome version of The Pink Stamps Lotus 40 and also The Lotus 34.
